I will try and explain the RSS later, Raine. Basically, though, it's a way to allow your site content to be syndicated/integrated with others, in laymen's terms. I want to create a small portal so, if we're short for time and can't go journal hopping like we want, we can at least see the latest post from those in the portal at one page.

And I'm still looking for/working on a decent script to put them to use, Harlen. Though if you know of a good RSS inport/reader script (Perl or PHP), let me know.

[link] Nevermind. I think I get it now.

And the portal's something like the "Friends" pages that livejournal users have, but more spiffy, because normal people made it, right?

My brain sort of expaned upon it's original sci-fi imaginings, because they could be stretched to mean the real thing. ^_^;;
