"Ugh. Don't make an anime unless the manga's finished, I say"

disappointed

I just watched the last ep, (or final ep special, whatever they called it) of Inuyasha. To say it was disappointing is a dire understatement. Apparently the manga isn't finished, either. There's been only a few anime I've seen that can pull off ending the series and it not be flat, least while the orginal manga is still ongoing. Inuyasha is not one of them.

Ah well, C'est la vie. Something tells me even if I keep watching it on CN, I'm going to fall into the Ranma trap of getting bored. Rumiko Takahashi tends to drone on after awhile. She really needs to learn about variety, and when to let something end.

I guess in the meantime, I'll watch the weekly eps on CN while it's still somewhat entertaining.

Oh, before I forget, Be Beautiful, the yaoi manga line from CPM, has a survey up, (url in their manga), and one of the questions is what yaoi manga would one suggest they license/translate. Unfortunately, I don't know any unlicensed yaoi manga (since they got Kizuna). Anybody else got some ideas?

. . . I think that's about it from me.

And yeah, I'm not very impressed by Rumiko Takahashi. Inuyasha seems pretty good, but DEAR LORD DOESN'T SHE KNOW WHEN TO /STOP?/

I'd suggest Kazuya Minekura's actual yaoi series, "Wild Adapter" since you were so kind to get me the Japanese version! But I think that Tokyopop has all the rights to her work now...
