(7:13 am PT) - Xmas cheer, and other things
[link] - (cold)

So that month is upon us. Time to see if I can get through it without breaking my bank. I have 8 people I'm shipping things to, and the worst is the actual shipping. Damn snailmail is expensive. But that's a rant for another day.

Went to Michael's last night and got most of what I needed. I wanted to get sea salt, but I'll have to go with something else, because it was just too pricey for that amount, and divided by 8, it wouldn't have gone very far. On the up note, I'm adding a couple of new items to the boxes: bath oil, and bath cookies. If you're not sure about the latter, it's a real cookie, baked in the oven, but you put it under the running water while the tub is filling, and it scents the bath for you. (Don't crumble it, let it dissolve, or you'll have floating crumbs.) This year the scents are almond and vanilla, though I may expand depending on how they're received.

The tea drink. Am I doing that again? It seemed to go over well (which surprised me). So, yes, no?

The first of the belts will be done today. Two more to go.

I have in my possession, a tube of vanilla creme filling. If you don't like that, let me know right now. Why? I'll say it's a secret, and your dirty minds can figure out what I'm using it for.

If you'd like to send one of these boxes to someone as a Xmas gift, consider this an informal order place. Price: $15 (this includes shipping costs).

I'm also selling the soaps separately. 5 large or 10 small = 10 (again, includes shipping). That's a minimum order amount, so you can go beyond that.

To people with sensitive skin, can you use ivory soap? Let me know, I have some ideas for that as well which should look nice.

That's all for the Xmas stuffy.

After over 1-2 years, I'm finally going to change my LJ layout. Only problem is, I want complete control over it, so I'm really going to have to sit down and look at how the S2 programming language works. I hope I can find a decent tutorial somewhere.

In random news, Mina is simply divine when it comes to stroking cock.

Let's see, need to hit the book store and pick up Saiyuki 5, YnM 2, and hope and pray that they have GB 6 already, though RightStuf says that's not due until the 14th. Pretear DVDs 2 and 3 are on their way. If I'm insanely lucky, I might be able to squeeze in GB dvd 3. Everything else can wait until next month.

I thought about (for a hot second) doing an advent calendar, but decided I didn't want to commit myself, what with coming off NaNo. So instead, I take particular requests randomly through the month. Today: first five people who point me to an image they'd like to see on a wallpaper gets it. There's no control over how I'll edit it. You supply the image and just leave it to Fate. BTW, Please please please comment here at Locuran and not at the LJ feed. While I try to catch those comments, I actually don't get any notification when someone comments there. But every feed post has a link directly to the item at Locuran itself, so shouldn't be too much hassle. I just don't want to run the risk of missing someone's comment.

Rambled enough. Got a belt to finish, a language to learn, and a fic to write. Hopefully all today.

(10:45 am PT) - Coolness, literally.
[link] - (cold)

I can't stay too long, damnable appointment. However, I just got my KoolerAire a few minutes ago, and I have one thing to say.

Take THAT summer! BWAA HA HA HAAA!!!!

Okay, granted this only works in small spaces, but then, that's all my room is, a small space. And it's mainly so I'll be able to run the comp during the day and not worry about it getting overheated.

But oh, the loveliness of gadgets. Plus, the cooler's so small it doesn't take that many two litres to put in there. That's the other thing. Originally it runs on ice, but following the suggestion at the site, I grabbed some two litre bottles full of water and froze them. After the test run, I've guessed that I'll need 2 two litres and 1-2 one litre bottles for best cooling affect. I've got 4 bottles now, so it will be easy keeping them in rotation. So I don't have to pay for ice bags or anything.

Yes, yes, I sound like a commercial. I don't care, this thing is great. 12 foot hard-on for cool air, and it's all mine. Mwa ha ha!

Daily Genism: There are those who say I must write certain pieces, be it poetry, prose, fiction, or non fiction, in a particular style, format, outline, etc. They tell me that unless I write a thing in a specified manner, then whatever I'm writing is not what I'm writing at all. These are the people who would stuff my imagination in a bottle, label it, and set it on the shelf for about /$2.25.

I say, I at least want a coupon, damnit.
