(9:55 am PT) - blank with possibilities
[link] - (sick)

While looking online for some blank hardcover books, (because yes, despite being late even for GD, I'm still working on packages), I came across a place not only selling said books, but also selling blank game boards. So you can make up your own type of board game. First thing that pops into my mind, a yaoi board game. But I'm not the greatest with thinking of things like that. Theme? Goal? Objective? Maybe parts, but the whole on my own, likely not. Definitely need help if it were to be done.

Speaking of crafts, nobody responded to the email request, and some of you I honestly needed to, hence one of two reasons for the delay. (The other being mom only recently found my craft oven. I'm not letting her put it outside again.)

Finally, I made icon charms. Yesh. I grabbed four random LJ icons from a few of you just to see. Even though they're testers, they came out pretty good. The next batch will be double-sided, as I only printed on one side before the bake.

School's still trying to destroy me, but I'm 1 week and 2 assignments away from finishing the first class. Just have to sit down today and finish this week's paper.

Think I'm catching a cold. Crud.

(4:39 am PT) - For Mina and Ko-chan
[link] - (sick)

4 a.m. Couldn't sleep. Pissed because so many things want to go wrong right before the con, including me catching a cold. (Which is what happened last year.) So faced with a bout of insomnia, what do I do? Make this nifty icon for Mina and Ko-chan of course. No, the border isn't part of it, that was just to mark where the actual icon is. It's transparent otherwise. The second is the same thing without the text, which might get annoying after awhile. Your choice.

It's a gusher!   It's a gusher!

(11:38 pm PT) - Apologies
[link] - (sick)

Sorry if anyone's been looking for me. I've been fighting a cold, since both the mother and brother units were sick, and today the cold won. I still feel craptacular, you know, the achy, shitty feeling? Yeah, that. I went down for a nap this evening, and did not wake up. Couldn't even post before now to say I'd be gone. I was just out.

Recommendations for over-the-counter cold medicines?

(11:11 pm PT) - Ugh
[link] - (sick)

Warning signs that the new year may turn out to be as craptacular as the last:

The cold is the worst, though, so I may be on silent run again for a few until I feel a bit closer to anti-human like I normally do.

(8:01 pm PT) - Ah... aaaaaaah!
[link] - (sick)

quick note, I've been wrangled into last minute volunteering for the con, so I won't be around until late for anything. and I have massive headache, partly from fangirl squealing. Ow.

(9:39 pm PT) - Go away, go make someone else sick...
[link] - (sick)

That subject is me talking to the virus currently making itself at home in my body.

Not much to say yet again. I'm still in a state of flux far as my room and computers go. I have everything off the old comp, but I was getting the run-around from my ::cough:: sister. Finally going to wind up selling to my brother.

Found some old poetry of mine. All I can wonder is what frame of mind I was in at the time, and what the hell I was drinking.

(10:32 pm PT) - Crap
[link] - (sick)

Domino, I forgot. Actually, more like I laid up in bed trying to decide which one I wanted to rip out of my body first, my sinuses or my uterus. Anyway, if you'll be around tomorrow, email me around 9 to remind me and I'll catch you there.

(3:14 pm PT) - Fragged
[link] - (sick)

Sunday
Bad: fragged the power supply. Dead computer.

Good: bought new one at Fry's before they closed

Bad: Marlon, who shall be referred to forever after as Asshole on a Stick, AoaS, refused to install power supply, nor listen to reason about mom being late, as it was my fault.
    - Aoas didn't feel he should have to do anything because it was Father's day. Nevermind that 1: mom worked on Mother's Day. 2: he got her nothing on Mother's Day. 3: he is an ass.
    - Aoas was also pissy because his two sons did nothing for him, and they didn't call him when he thought they should have. He wants people on his time frame.
    - Aoas got mad because I grabbed mom before going to Fry's, so he couldn't get his lard butt to Sizzler, her treat. She brought him a steak sandwich dinner back, made him shrimp, but no, not enough. Obviously Aoas forgot when he had mom tied up all day during Thanksgiving last year.
    - Aoas forgets a few important facts. 1: he's here virtually rent free. 2: he's not our father. 3: you do not make someone choose between you or their children. Especially adult children who've had a group total of 30 years to establish a relationship with a parant, versus a little over one year as a boyfriend.

Result: Had to wait until Monday to go to a repair shop to get power supply installed, as it's too late. Also, Mom and Aoas got into argument, where he makes a snide remark about how her children should have remembered her on Mother's day. Aoas obviously didn't remember that between my sister and I, mom got $50. And, she received a belated Father's day gift from me in the form of a bath spa. His kids did nothing for him. Wonder why.

Monday
Good: Aoas starts to fix comp. Mom told him no. Aoas snubbed.

Good: Find repair shop that will install power supply and the hard drive Aoas removed on Sunday at my request to check if data was still intact.
    - Aoas bitched to Mom how I supposedly knew this would put his computer at risk. If I knew anything about hardware, I would have put the damn thing in myself. I'm versed in software, a difference he seems to constantly forget.

Bad: Bring comp home, but nothing happens upon hitting the button.

Bad: Take it back to shop, only to find repairman left.

Neutral: Still snubbing Aoas.

Good: find another repair shop, repairman says the cables in the powersupply were kinked and broken.
    - This probably occured when the original repairman put the power supply in, and did not pay attention to the placement of the wires.

Bad: Repairman says will be fixed... tomorrow morning.

Bad: Chair dies.

Result: Have to wait until tomorrow, and out money to buy new chair.

Tuesday
Good: Call repair shop. Comp is ready.

Good: snubbed Aoas.

Bad: Come to realized I've caught a germ of some sort, and feel craptacular.

Good: Grab the car from Bri.

Bad: Bri constantly asking for money.

Good: Get the comp, then grab a decent enough chair at secondhand store, because I don't need to spend money on a place I'm just going to park my ass on.

Good: Somewhere between Monday and today, mom got mini fridge into my room.

Good: opened CD account to go towards purchasing a new home.

Bad: Still feeling craptacular.

Good: Get comp and chair home. Comp dubbed She-devil. Plug comp in, back online.

Funny: Have 69 unread emails in hotmail account. Have 69 unread emails in Yaoiville account. Briefly wonder if life is trying to tell me I need to get laid.

Result: Comp is back, I'm tired, and I am reminded of the fact that RL, I hate people.

Right Now
So now I'm going to lay down after a few brief messages...

Kit - we can either hang out Thursday or Saturday. Can't do anything Friday because I'm getting She-Bitch, a.k.a. the new comp.

Domino - I'm crossing my fingers, because I've got to get out of here for a few days.

When I rest, I'll go back to the site I was working on. Though I must admit, being without a comp for a few days was very refreshing. The only thing I was really worried about was email and new signups for the MLs. But truthfully, I could live without a comp, and net. Better than live, as that's just one less way of people frustrating me.

Will play catch up to all of you when i wake up. Running around has exhausted me.
